Neanthe Bella is an attractive, easy care evergreen, perennial plant and a very popular houseplant. This tabletop palm can also grow outdoors year round in USDA zones 10 through 12. It’s commonly known in the trade as the ‘Neanthe bella palm’ and grown primarily for indoor use in 6″ – 14″ inch containers, ranging in height from 18″ inches to 3-4 feet tall. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves of the Neanthe Bella Palm, so place this little beauty in a spot out of direct light. While it is tolerant of lower light conditions, you may notice leggy growth as a result, so a spot where it will receive bright indirect light a few feet removed from a southern, western, or eastern facing window is ideal. Neanthe Bella Palms prefer soil that is lightly moist, with a slight period of drought between waterings. Water when the top 1” - 2” inches of the soil are dry, likely every 7 - 10 days. Even though they are very flat sandals, the soul has just enough cushion to feel like you’re walking on a cloud. I also love the location of the straps. As someone with bunions, they cover them perfectly and make my feet look attractive while not being completely covered.

Comfortable at first, but didn’t hold up long-term

The size felt true and the feel was comfortable right out of the box. I liked the softness of the footbed, and the wearability was good for everyday errands and casual outings at first.
Unfortunately, after about six months of regular use, they started falling apart. While the versatility was nice and the thickness felt fine for warm weather, the overall durability just wasn’t there. They’re okay for short-term use, but I wouldn’t expect them to last long.
